The Pizza Parable (2023)
---
A young man struggles with the reality of what obedience really looks like...
---
A message from Jordan:
"This is a short little experimental film I made in hopes of bringing together different mediums to create a unique entertainment value. I believe if something is to glorify God, it should be the best out there. So I'm on a journey of developing a cinematic style which will help portray the Gospel message in an understandable and extravangant way. In this case, obedience to your parents. Yes, we all understand it, but what does it really look like to sacrifice what you want to be obedient? Not just to your parents, but to God? And when we do step into that obedience, we can be assured that there is reward laid up for us in Heaven. Like... a real, authentic, deep-dish pizza.
As Matthew 6:19-21 says: “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
And John 14:21: "Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them."

Stop, Drop & Pray (2022)
---
My mind is swirling with thoughts I can’t understand.
Do you understand?
My brain feels like a drain where ups, downs, and all arounds are found in a sound type of pounding.
I feel insane.
I need a safe place but there is no place.
Where is my place?
This world is as it seems but it doesn’t redeem.
I can’t seem to find which scene… 7,8,9, fine.
I guess I’ll settle, I guess I’ll compromise.
I don’t know anymore I just want to know,
But what I know does not seem to be what I know.
As I said I feel insane.
But in the noise, through all the toys and incomprehensible amount of la croixs
Which I just started liking…
I find myself hiking.
Up a tall hill shaped like a pill there I am running towards something cunning though shunning… and yet a taste of honey.
A taste of honey?
Confused and amused I take another sip and it hits me like a brick
On this rock I find honey and it’s sounds funny but a new peace falls on me like money which, itself is a valuable un-mailable truth that provides provision’s supervision over all from the least to the latest and greatest
There’s many ways for me to describe this situation but it may take some administration
I have realized that even in the darkest of places God provides and abides in those who strive towards Him in heart soul and mind
What a find.
It doesn’t mean my situation is just another conversation but instead that my motivation in God is no hesitation.
The wind blows and the trees know that soon their leaves will go.
Why do leaves fall from trees and seeds sprawl around like thieves.
I believe the separation from a tree is no more than a situation meant to show that even the smallest of things can make beautiful scenes.
That there is more to life than what seems and the rags of our old lives break at the seams when the glory of the Father meets us and in fact redeems.
In the waters of baptism we find, bind, and shine in a new life in Christ and filled with the Spirit we learn to hear it, that is the holy voice of God now speaking a new rhyme for no less than a dime of time, it states in a powerful yet sour-full tone that in Christ we will be diced, spliced, and made ready for the night… ready for the fight… ready to be made right in the sight of the one who loves us and is above us.
So let me take you back to my mind which before was signed over to crime and took a mighty fine.
I now see that God sees the raging seas are no more than raging needs of a saving fee bought by the lead of this scene, Jesus who has freed us.
So when my brain feels like a drain where ups, downs, and all arounds are found in a sound type of pounding.
I’ll look to the One who looked to the Son, and I’ll look to the Son who is One with the Holy Ones
I’ll look to what He has brought me through and what he bought me with, it’s not a myth but a wish come true.
I won’t let the lies of the world be hurled and unfurled before me for the sake of the enemy,
But I’ll stay strong and long to be made holy fully before the Lord Almighty.
Confide all to me, He says.
Abide only in me, He says.
Yes o yes, I said.
And just like that my mind popped, hopped, and stopped.
And I found myself understanding the seemingly un-understandable over-expandable worries of my brain, now a lame stain compared to the fame and name of the Holy One who reigns.

Beauty for Ashes (2021)
---
Emotions. Something that, as humans, we experience on the daily. From anger to confusion to sadness to fear. Emotions become a problem when we keep them to ourselves and deny what we feel. We must therefore be willing and ready to lay everything we feel at the feet of Jesus. For when we can do that we allow Him to make them into something beautiful. You see, when we give up all control the Lord is able to bring healing to our situation and glory to Himself. From the chaos a piece of art is created, showcasing not only our emotions but more importantly our Savior. The one who takes on our trials and points us towards the cross and the crown. A life turned from ashes to beauty.
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."
